SANDEN
had been working on the development of a compressor for automotive
air-conditioners that responded to ozone layer destruction problems, and
energy-saving type vending machines for which it was awarded a prize by the
Director-General of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.
Some Citroen Berlingo, Citroen C5, Citroen Evasion - Synergie, Citroen Jumper, Citroen Jumpy, Citroen Xantia, Citroen XM, Citroen Xsara and Citroen Xsara Picasso are built with the same air
conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM
numbers) are 6453FE, 6453GA, 6453L5, 9613260680, 9640486480.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was
assembled with a Sanden 7V16 compressor,
compressor manufacturer numbers: Sanden 1106, Sanden 1106F, Sanden 1155, Sanden 1155F, Sanden 1156, Sanden 1172, Sanden 1218, Sanden 1227, Sanden 1227F, Sanden 1238. These ac compressors seems to be interchangeable.
